The
Site Name will appear on the top of the browser window and will appear if someone bookmarks your site.
Create URL/ Address is one of the most important choices you make. Whatever you choose will be the web address your students will have to remember to get to your site. Keep it as short and discriptive as possible. For this site I choose "
wikibasics" so the URL is
www.wikibasics.wetpaint.com .

What is your wiki about? This is a discription of what your wiki is about. This is extremely important if your site is public as GOOGLE will use it to catalog your site. However, if your site is a classroom site it should be closed and this will not matter as much.
Choose a category: Select EDUCATION. This way you can email wetpaint and have the advertising removed from the site.
Who can view your wiki? This must be INVITED MEMBERS ONLY. This way your the wiki is not visible to anyone not invited.
Next choose a style? You will have 3 pages of styles to choose from. These can be changed after the fact.

Lastly you will be asked to invite members to your wiki. Only invite members when you are ready.
